Good news, pet parents! Numerous studies have linked improved human health through pet ownership. Some direct benefits, as listed by the CDC, are as follows:
- Improved cardiovascular health by lowering blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglycerides
- Mental health benefits through decreased feelings of loneliness and increased opportunities of socialization with peers
- Increased opportunities for exercise and outdoor activities – just potty breaks alone create this!
